Every balloon must pass technical inspections before flight, and pilots must hold commercial licenses with substantial flight experience. 11. Can I choose where I stand in the basket?

14. Who decides if flights are cancelled?

If they cancel, no operator can override that decision. The call is typically made by 4:00–5:00 AM, and you'll be notified immediately via phone or your hotel.

If weather cancels your flight, your booking is refunded — card refunds include a small per-passenger processing fee, while cash or bank-transfer refunds are not reduced. Above Cappadocia processes refunds within 3–5 business days. Rebooking to a new date is not automatic or free: the new date is a brand-new booking, subject to that day's price and availability, so no slot is guaranteed for the next morning. 24. What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations 24 hours or more before your scheduled flight are refund-eligible; cancellations less than 24 hours before the flight are non-refundable. Card refunds include a small per-passenger processing fee; cash or bank-transfer refunds have no deduction. Weather cancellations are refunded under the same terms — rebooking to a new date is not automatic or free, since the new date is a fresh booking subject to that day's price and availability. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip interruptions.

25. Can I pay in cash? Which currencies are accepted?

28. Is breakfast included?
