Your Flight Day
Our shuttle collects you from your hotel in Goreme, Urgup, Uchisar, Avanos, or surrounding areas. Pickup time varies by season, flight departure, and hotel location, and is confirmed by the assigned operator the evening before, generally between 17:00 and 20:00.
A light snack with hot and cold drinks while you watch the balloons being inflated — a spectacle in itself.
Your pilot explains the flight, landing position, and answers all your questions. Safety is our priority.
Rise gently into the sky as the first light breaks over the horizon. Altitude and route vary depending on the wind and the pilot's decisions on the day—valleys such as Love Valley, Pigeon Valley, and Rose Valley are sometimes part of the route, but nothing specific is guaranteed.

Weather Policy
Flight status is reviewed daily by your assigned operator's pilot, informed by SHM (Kapadokya) guidance and, where relevant, Turkish Civil Aviation (SHGM) directives. If your flight is cancelled for weather or operational safety, your booking is refunded (a €10 per-passenger card fee applies to card payments); a new date is a new booking at that day's price and availability, not a free automatic reschedule.
What to Wear
Dress in layers. Mornings can be -5°C to 10°C. Comfortable flat shoes, long pants, and a light jacket recommended.

Age and height requirements vary by operator and are confirmed for your booking. Passengers under 18 must be with a parent or guardian. Not recommended for those with severe vertigo.
