1. Booking Terms

Prices shown on the website are starting prices and may vary by flight date and availability. Submitting a request through our website does not create a booking or require any payment. We provide the exact price for your date within 24 hours by WhatsApp or email. A reservation is considered confirmed only after you approve the exact quote and receive written confirmation from Above Cappadocia — once confirmed, the agreed price will be honored and will not increase.

• Requests can be made through our website, email, or WhatsApp
• You must provide accurate personal details for all passengers at the time of booking
• A valid email address and phone number are required for all reservations
• Group bookings of 10 or more passengers may be subject to special terms

2. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation

• 24 hours or more before flight: Refund-eligible. A €10 per-passenger card-processing fee is deducted from refunds on credit/debit card payments; cash or bank-transfer payments are refunded with no deduction.
• Less than 24 hours before flight: Non-refundable
• No-shows are non-refundable

Weather Cancellation

Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent. The final decision on whether a flight can operate rests with the licensed operator and pilot assigned to your date, informed by daily flight-status guidance from SHM (Kapadokya) and, where relevant, region-wide directives from the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority (SHGM). If your flight is cancelled due to weather or operational safety conditions:

• Your booking is refunded. A €10 per-passenger card-processing fee applies to card payments; cash or bank-transfer payments are refunded with no deduction.
• We will notify you of the cancellation as early as possible — this can be confirmed the evening before or at the last minute on the morning of the flight.
• A weather-cancelled booking is not automatically or freely moved to another day. The next date is a brand-new booking, subject to that day's current price and availability — your original price is not held, and no slot is guaranteed for the next morning or any specific day. We will help you make a new booking if space is available.

3. Payment Terms

• Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of all taxes
• No payment is required to send a price and availability request
• Payment is made in person on the day of your flight, before boarding
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and bank transfers
• Starting prices shown on the website may vary by flight date and availability; once you approve your exact quote and we confirm your reservation, that price is fixed and will not increase

4. Flight Safety Requirements

The safety of our guests is a top priority. Every flight is operated by an independently licensed, SHGM-certified balloon operator, who is responsible for the flight's operational safety. By booking a flight, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Age Requirements

• Passengers must be at least 6 years of age to fly
• Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Health Conditions

Balloon flights may not be suitable for everyone. You must inform us at the time of booking if any passenger has:

• Heart conditions or cardiovascular issues
• Severe fear of heights (acrophobia)
• Recent surgical procedures
• Pregnancy
• Mobility impairments — exact accessibility requirements vary by operator and are confirmed before booking
• Any other medical condition that could be affected by altitude or temperature changes

The pilot reserves the right to refuse boarding to any passenger deemed unfit to fly for safety reasons.

5. Liability Limitations

Above Cappadocia is a booking agency and does not itself operate the balloon flight. Each flight is operated by a licensed local balloon operator. Turkish civil aviation (SHGM) regulations require licensed balloon operators to carry passenger liability insurance for commercial flights. However:

• We are not liable for injuries or damages resulting from passenger negligence or failure to follow pilot instructions
• We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes to flight schedules caused by weather, air traffic control, or regulatory decisions
• We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during the flight
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked flight
• We strongly recommend that passengers obtain personal travel insurance

All passengers fly at their own risk and must follow the safety instructions provided by the pilot and ground crew at all times.

6. Photography Consent

By participating in a balloon flight with Above Cappadocia, you acknowledge that:

• Photographs and videos may be taken during the flight by the operator's crew or other passengers
• These images may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the flight that you do not wish to be photographed
• You are free to take your own photographs and videos during the flight for personal use

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Above Cappadocia and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nevşehir, Turkey.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
