1. Booking Terms

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive an official confirmation email from Above Cappadocia.

• Bookings can be made through our website, email, or WhatsApp
• You must provide accurate personal details for all passengers at the time of booking
• A valid email address and phone number are required for all reservations
• Group bookings of 10 or more passengers may be subject to special terms

2. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation

• 48+ hours before flight: Full refund, no cancellation fee
• 24–48 hours before flight: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours before flight: No refund
• No-shows are non-refundable

Weather Cancellation

Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent. The Turkish Civil Aviation Authority (SHGM) and local authorities make the final decision on whether flights can operate each day. If your flight is cancelled due to weather conditions:

• You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to the next available date at no extra cost
• We will notify you of the cancellation as early as possible, typically the evening before or early morning of the flight day
• Rescheduled flights are subject to availability

3. Payment Terms

• Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of all taxes
• Payment can be made online at the time of booking or in person before the flight
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
• Full payment is required before boarding the balloon
• Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the original price

4. Flight Safety Requirements

The safety of our passengers is our top priority. By booking a flight, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Age Requirements

• Passengers must be at least 6 years of age to fly
• Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Health Conditions

Balloon flights may not be suitable for everyone. You must inform us at the time of booking if any passenger has:

• Heart conditions or cardiovascular issues
• Severe fear of heights (acrophobia)
• Recent surgical procedures
• Pregnancy
• Mobility impairments (passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight and climb into/out of the basket)
• Any other medical condition that could be affected by altitude or temperature changes

The pilot reserves the right to refuse boarding to any passenger deemed unfit to fly for safety reasons.

5. Liability Limitations

Above Cappadocia carries comprehensive insurance coverage for all balloon flights. However:

• We are not liable for injuries or damages resulting from passenger negligence or failure to follow pilot instructions
• We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes to flight schedules caused by weather, air traffic control, or regulatory decisions
• We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during the flight
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked flight
• We strongly recommend that passengers obtain personal travel insurance

All passengers fly at their own risk and must follow the safety instructions provided by the pilot and ground crew at all times.

6. Photography Consent

By participating in a balloon flight with Above Cappadocia, you acknowledge that:

• Photographs and videos may be taken during the flight by our crew or other passengers
• These images may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the flight that you do not wish to be photographed
• You are free to take your own photographs and videos during the flight for personal use

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Above Cappadocia and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nevşehir, Turkey.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
